TCYFL Champions Libertyville Wildcats
The Chicagoland Youth Football League, which is the largest independently run football league in the country, recently held its annual Championship games.
The Libertyville Wildcats Eighth-Grade Varsity 4A Elite Team came out on top defeating the 9-1 Stevenson Youth Football team 22-15.
The Wildcats finished the season 11-1 and won their fourth championship over the last six years at this age level.
Lead by coach Eric Schmidt the Varsity Level team has an impressive 54 and 11 record during his time as head coach
