AgeGuide, health department to host ‘Living Well in Kane County’

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Kane County Health Department is partnering with AgeGuide to host “Living Well in Kane County: Resources for Older Adults and Caregivers” at noon, with a second session at 7 p.m.

This free webinar will guide older adults, families, and caregivers through a wide array of resources available in Kane County. The event will provide participants with practical information on accessing health services, public benefits, caregiver support, financial and legal assistance, and community programs that promote independence and well-being. Spanish translation will be available.

Participants can submit questions during registration, allowing them to tailor the event to their unique concerns, which will be addressed during the presentation or in the Q&A session.

“This event is part of our commitment to supporting the health and independence of older adults and their families in Kane County,” said Michael Isaacson, executive director of the Kane County Health Department. “We’re proud to partner with AgeGuide to help connect older adults, their families, and caregivers with the information and resources that support good health.”

The health department and AgeGuide encourage all interested residents, community partners, and clients to register for this informative event.

This presentation is an opportunity to gain insights into services that can help older adults stay active, connected, and supported within their community.
