Elgin Elks donates to PADS
The Elgin Elks Lodge 737 recently donated $2,000 to PADS of Elgin. The money will be used to aid the homeless.
The money was a President Grant from the Illinois Elks Association, that the lodge was awarded.
PADS, Public Action to Deliver Shelter, is a nonprofit organization, helping the local homeless people. It provides safe shelter, support services, and advocacy to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Elgin, Hanover, Dundee, and Rutland townships.
