Why we have it

Unlike Walt Zlotow, I WAS taught about the Electoral College by my civics teacher 70 years ago. The Electoral College protects the minority from the tyranny of the majority, and it has worked well for 248 years. I have a small booklet, 3½” by 5” and 41 pages. Not a large document, it is the Constitution of the United States of America which speaks of the Electoral College. You could read it in about an hour or for a lifetime.
