Keep the faith

To all those who are troubled by the results of the election: Have faith in our country and its Constitution that has been tested for nearly 240 years. Mr. Trump has won, but he will come and go, just like any other president. Our Constitution made sure he stays in power for no more than four years.

Americans are rebels, naturally. And this mentality is what led to Trump’s victory. But what we are also, is resilient. We’ve endured a British invasion, a Civil War, insurrections, World Wars, the threat of nuclear war, the War on Terror, economic depressions and more. And yet, we are still here.

Our country is already great, despite what people may think. No matter who would have won, I still believe in America and what it stands for. We must not lose faith.
