The City of Lights Film Festival returns Nov. 8-9

The second annual City of Lights Film Festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9, throughout downtown Aurora.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N Broadway in Aurora.

Ticket holders will receive a single free draft beer or soft drink, with programming beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the Tavern Room. Panel discussions will take place with local filmmakers and creators, as well as the screening of the critically acclaimed “All Happy Families.”

Saturday features a variety of short, feature, documentary, and narrative films at three different locations downtown. Showings begin at 11 a.m. and run throughout the day. At 8 p.m., The Venue will host the closing night ceremony, featuring a conversation with Cole Bennett, founder of Lyrical Lemonade!

Bennett also will be on hand to present the first-ever City of Lights Film Festival Best In Music Video Award.
