Naperville electoral board holds hearing on candidate petitions
Two candidates for the Naperville City Council face petition challenges.
The Naperville electoral board will hold a hearing Wednesday on the objections to petitions for Nag Jaiswal and Farid Shabazz. Both men are among nine candidates who filed petitions for the April 1 election. There are four city council seats up for election.
Wednesday’s hearing will begin at 1:30 p.m. in council chambers at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. The hearing will be broadcast live on the government access channel and streamed live on the city’s website.
