Libertyville pumpkin recycling. compost event Saturday

The Sustain Libertyville Commission is sponsoring a pumpkin recycling event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.

Drop off pumpkins and gourds (remove candles and decorations) for recycling at the Adler Pool parking lot, 1500 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Participants can collect up to 20 gallons of compost from the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County to take home. Shovels will be provided.
