Drag brunch fundraiser in Elgin to benefit Open Door Health Center

You can come dressed as your favorite diva for Open Door Health Center’s 2024 Chocolate Drop Drag Benefit Brunch fundraiser.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, at The Highland Loft Event Venue, 168 E. Highland Ave. in Elgin.

The benefit is a slightly scaled-down version of an annual event they held in previous years called All Things Chocolate Gala.

This year’s event will feature Moana Lotte as the mistress of ceremonies, as well as six drag performers and music by DJ Razz.

The buffet brunch will include a chocolate fountain and a signature chocolate martini.

In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle and raffle baskets, as well as a live art auction.

The $65 tickets are on sale through Friday, Nov. 8, and can be purchased at tinyurl.com/2z3dca2z.
