Who’s running for Downers Grove village council seats

Six Downers Grove candidates are running for three village council commissioner seats up for election next year.

Chris Gilmartin is the only incumbent in the council race. Matthew J. Novak, Paul F. Drabik, Rob Roe, Tammy Sarver and Thomas Cawthorne are the five other candidates who filed nominating petitions with the village clerk.

The village will not be holding a February primary. The municipal election is April 1.
