776 Senior Care celebrates 10th anniversary

1776 Senior Care in Glen Ellyn recently celebrated its 10th anniversary as a veteran-friendly homecare provider. Nat Truitt founded the agency in 2014, with a vision to bring joy to seniors and peace to their families.

The agency name is a tribute to Nat’s grandfathers who were World War II veterans. In 2019, the agency became certified with the Department of Veteran Affairs, to provide veterans with home health aides and respite services in the comfort of their own homes. In 2024, 1776 Senior Care was now veteran operated as well.

“As a veteran, it is an honor to be part of an organization that focuses on serving those individuals who have honorably served our country. It is our mission to provide veterans, seniors, and their families with services tailored to meet their changing needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and independence in their own homes,” said Mackensie Barone, Regional Operations Manager/OIF/OEF Veteran.
