Wonderful park, but is extra parking needed?

Wheaton Commissioners, Council Members and Director — A quick note highlighting that in prime time this weekend, and again today, with beautiful weather and amusement rides for the kids (I hear them all day, hollering with joy out my window in Wheaton Oaks — it’s wonderful! ), there remains more than half the parking spots available as seen in the attached picture. I walk there daily and this is the norm.

Please reconsider your pursuit of additional parking. In this era of big government I hope you are considering voting for fiscal conservatives, law & order focused candidates and a smaller footprint for government overall.

The citizens appreciate the zoo as is and evidence continues to show that you have plenty of parking already. Please reconsider your growth pattern and try to lessen the burden on your constituents.
