Glen Ellyn church to host ‘Surviving the Holidays’ program
The holidays are difficult for persons who have lost a spouse, child, parent, sibling, or dear friend. There’s loneliness, the loss of holiday traditions, and delicate questions asked around the dinner table.
For persons dreading the upcoming holidays, “Surviving the Holidays,” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main St. in Glen Ellyn.
The free two-hour program includes a 45-minute video by the national organization, GriefShare. Afterward, there will be an open discussion period.
