Bring the kids to the Halloween Trunk-or-Treat at Shepherd of the Prairie

Children of the community are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes, have fun, and get treats during the Trunk-or-Treat event from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in the church parking lot of Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St.

Church families and volunteers will provide decorated trunks filled with Halloween treats for children.

“Children are encouraged to visit each of our trunks to fill their Halloween bags with treats,” said Jill Gillming, director of children and family ministry. “We will serve hot chocolate and popcorn and everyone will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite trunk, which will be awarded a first prize.”
