No residents hurt in Aurora house fire

No residents were injured when a house caught fire early Thursday in Aurora.

Firefighters responded at 4:40 a.m. to the building on the 700 block of Fifth Street, according to the Aurora Fire Department. The house had been converted into three living units. Six residents, ages 13 to 53, escaped. Flames were coming from the roof and attic. The home was left uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
