‘Hanover Haunts’ comes to Izaak Walton Reserve on Oct. 18

The Hanover Township Department of Youth & Family Services will host “Hanover Haunts” on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Izaak Walton Youth Center & Reserve, 899 Jay St. in Elgin.

From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., youth are invited to participate in games and crafts. The haunted trail will be open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The trail is intended for youth, age 13 or older. Costumes are encouraged. No registration is required for this free event.

“There is something for everyone to get in the Halloween spirit at Hanover Haunts,” said Tina Houdek, Youth & Family Services Director. “Our staff and volunteer actors have been working for weeks on props, costumes and displays for a frightening night of fun.”
