Barrington food drive set for Saturday

In conjunction with a document shredding and textile recycling event Saturday, Barrington will be hosting a food drive to benefit the Barrington and Cuba township food pantries.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Metra North Commuter Lot near Wool Street and Klingenberg Lane.

Those interested in participating should bring non-expired, nonperishable food to help fill a public works truck. Cash donations will also be accepted.
