Beyond shocking

I was disappointed to see that the Daily Herald has endorsed the Harris-Walz candidates for the presidency and VP, respectively. The reasoning is shocking. The paragraph which extols Harris’ qualifications is beyond shocking. “Harris has demonstrated a strong foundation in the key issues facing the country — particularly, the economy, immigration and foreign policy — and an ability to articulate positions firmly and clearly.” Must be talking about a totally different Harris. And then, to go on and describe Biden’s “wise but late decision to step away from the race –“. Nothing about his stepping away was his decision. He was forced out and he stated as much when answering questions about it. I think it should be described as “dragged away kicking and screaming.”
