Anonymous kindness
Thank you to the woman who paid for my husband’s manicure and pedicure today at the Nail Circle in Lake Zurich. She must have heard my husband and I discussing that he had been in the hospital for the last two months and noticed his use of a walker. When we went to pay for the manicure/pedicure, we were surprised to find that the woman who had been sitting next to my husband, and who had already departed, had quietly paid his bill. Her anonymous kindness brought tears to my eyes, and it reminded me of the wonderful world in which we live.
