We need strength in dangerous time
When Biden bowed out of the campaign due to mental capacity issues, Kamala Harris stepped in. But of course, her record is the same as Biden’s — disaster in the Afghan withdrawal, raging inflation, permitting a Chinese spy balloon to take a leisurely trip across the country and stopping over our most sensitive military sites, the invasion on the border and now a faltering economy.
To those people unconcerned about the border I say, “Lacon Riley, say her name,” the beautiful young nursing student raped and murdered by a Venezuelan gang member in Georgia because of Harris’ border policies. Sadly, her death is only one of numerous and needless deaths caused by the open border. Migrants are not just walking across the border, they are also being flown into the interior of the country. Now Harris is trying to act like an outsider although she has been in charge for nearly four years.
As a woman, I disagree with many of her views. I do not want to see men in woman’s sports, locker rooms or female prisons. I do not want to see minors given sex change drugs or operations without parental approval. Finally, I would like to see an agreement on some kind of time limit for abortions, similar to Europe. But the Democratic Party refuses to set any limit, meaning that an abortion at nine months is acceptable. There has to be a reasonable middle ground.
I do not agree with everything Trump says, but we are in very dangerous time. During his time, we had no wars, low inflation, a great economy and the border was under control. Finally, can anyone possibly imagine Kamala Harris sitting across the table from Putin and Xi and not be very afraid?
