Two neighboring Elgin churches to host annual fall fundraisers

Two Elgin churches located on the intersection of Randall Road and Highland Avenue invite you to shop at their annual fall fundraisers on Saturday, Oct. 19.

St. Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Church on the southeast corner hosts “Treats & Treasures” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visit vendors offering holiday gifts and browse tables of home and holiday decor, along with handcrafted items, jewelry, vintage collectibles and home-baked desserts and sweet treats.

Then head across the street to Journey of Hope’s popular Gingerbread Bazaar between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. where up to 38 vendors will be selling quality handcrafted goods. While there, enjoy a complimentary slice of gingerbread and purchase a light lunch.

The proceeds from both churches’ sales will benefit several local communities through their outreach ministries.
