Downtown Palatine parking garage undergoing repairs

Work is scheduled to begin this week on maintenance repairs at the Gateway Center Parking Deck at 251 W. Colfax St. in downtown Palatine.

Phase 1 of the project is expected to be complete by late November. Portions of levels 1, 2, and 3 will be closed to accommodate the work and parking will not be allowed in those areas.

The north entrance also will be closed during this time. Signs has been posted directing traffic to use the west entrance.

All three stairwells will remain open during the repairs.
