Voting for change in Congress

I am voting for Republican Mark Rice for the Illinois 8th District to be our next U. S. Representative in Congress.

He is running against Raja Krishnamoorthi, the incumbent, who voted no on the following bills.

1. The Laken Riley Act. This bill would have prevented Riley’s death because the illegal perpetrator would have been in custody. 37 Democrats voted with Republicans to pass the bill, but not Raja.

2. SAVE ACT requires proof of citizenship to vote. Every Democrat voted against this bill.

3. Protection of women and girls in sports. This bill prohibits trans athletes from competing on girls or women’s sports team. No Democrat voted for this bill.

4. HR1 House Energy Cost said that Congress, and not the president, can decide to end fracking. No Democrat voted for this bill.

I thought he should be representing the people of the 8th District. This is just a sample of the way Raja is voting and I cannot vote for Raja because of this.
