Front desk at Des Plaines police station closed due to construction

The ongoing renovation and expansion of the Des Plaines police station, 1418 Miner St., has forced the temporary closure of the facility’s front desk.

If you need help at the station, enter city hall, 1420 Miner St., and follow signs to an intercom system that connects directly to police, city officials said.

Officers will respond to calls and meet you to assist.
