Haunted Hoffman Family Fest brings spooktacular fun to Fabbrini Park

On Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 0.m., at Fabbrini Park, 1704 Glen Lake Road, Hoffman Estates, families across Hoffman Estates and the surrounding area are invited to join the Hoffman Estates Park District (HEParks) for a day of festive fun at the Haunted Hoffman Family Fest. With free general admission, this family friendly Halloween event offers a full day of activities, entertainment, and seasonal excitement for all ages.

This year’s Haunted Hoffman will feature an array of activities and attractions. Families can look forward to live stage entertainment, including Family Zombie Zumba, a captivating Bubble Show and a performance by HEParks' very own Twirling Twisters Baton Corps, who are national winners and qualifiers for the World Team competition in Turin, Italy, 2025.

Additionally, the stage will host an interactive Game Show for all to enjoy.

In addition to these performances, the event will offer a variety of free activities including a Story-Walk Scavenger Hunt, carnival games, a bounce house, mini golf, and a scenic hayride. All attendees will also have the chance to visit a festive Pumpkin Patch, where they can support the local community by donating canned goods or nonperishable food items for the local food drive. Monetary donations are also welcome.

“We are excited to welcome families to our annual Haunted Hoffman Family Fest, a cherished tradition here at HEParks,” said Jodi Schultz, Special Events program manager at HEParks. “This event is a wonderful way for the community to come together, enjoy some Halloween fun and celebrate the season.”

As always, Haunted Hoffman will also offer the opportunity to meet local heroes, with members of the Hoffman Estates Fire and Police departments joining in the festivities.

Children and families can interact with these local first responders, making the event a great way to build connections and learn about their essential roles in the community.

For those seeking even more Halloween fun, the Trick or Treat Path will offer an extra special experience. This preregistered, ticketed portion of the event takes participants through over 20 character-themed stops, where children will have the chance to collect treats from some of their favorite characters, including Elsa, Anna, Bluey, Joy, and more.

Preregistration is required, and tickets are available for $8 per child. Walk-in’s will be accepted after preregistered guests and within time-allocation at $10 per child.

Free parking is available, and a complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Eisenhower Junior High School, 800 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates.

Visit the HEParks website at heparks.org/events to register for the Trick or Treat Path or learn more about the event.

Come out in costume and enjoy a day filled with Halloween cheer for the whole family.
