‘Affordable’ good, too
Yet another article about Class A luxury apartments being built. Why? Because there is a demand for luxury, from young singles and couples, and empty nesters. What about the fact that there are people in the middle who cannot afford luxury?
Because, believe it or not, there is a bigger demand for affordable housing. A demand from the people who will work in the businesses that are so close to these developments that are a selling point for renters. A demand for people who do not have access to transportation and would love to work close to their (probably) low-paying jobs to cater to those people who love luxury. I am so tired of every housing project being labeled “luxury.” Average is good, too.
