Schaumburg Township residents may appeal their property taxes locally through Nov. 5

Residents may appeal their Cook County property taxes at Schaumburg Township through Nov. 5.

The township is open during the appeals period to assist residents from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

There are two appointment options for residents to complete appeals virtually or in-person.

One may email Victor Morales at vmorales@schtwn.org your home pin number, phone number, email and home address. Emails must be received at least one hour before closing on the last day of appeals.

Walk-in appointments are also available. You’ll need to bring your pin number, phone number, email and home address.

The township can assist with appeals for townhouses and single-family homes, but not condominium, apartment or commercial property appeals. Residents living in condos and apartments should work with their respective association representative.
