Grace Lutheran Church to host fall rummage sale Oct. 4-5

Members of Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake will be hosting their semi-annual rummage sale on Friday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Payment is cash or check only.

The church has held sales in the spring and autumn months for over a decade.

Find furniture, small appliances, household items, tools, children’s toys, books and games, as well as seasonal decor for the fall and Christmas.

In addition to jewelry, shoes and scarves, there will be plenty of clothing for infants, children and teens, as well as men’s and women’s clothing.

There will be a “half-price” sale of most items starting at noon on Saturday. Many items are $1. The popular “Fill-A-Bag for $5" with clothing will take place in the church pavilion.

The rummage sales help with some costs of church building maintenance and repairs (leaky roofs, windows, lighting) as well as continuing a variety of ministries.

If you are unfamiliar with Lily Lake, you can find the church at 5N600 Hanson Road, just off Empire Road, near routes 64 and 47 in western St. Charles. Use the parking lot at the rear entrance to church.

The church also welcomes all for Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. For information, call the church office at (630) 365-6751 or visit graceoflilylake.org or facebook.com/GraceOfLilyLake/.
