Consider the whole truth about economy

It seems like the Herald uses Keith Peterson as a “guest view,” when most of his views clearly have a liberal bent. In his last article about the economy, he did not seem to be very impartial. Mr. Peterson led us to believe that Kamala Harris’ plan would be more beneficial than Trump’s. Also, he tended to debunk reference to Harris’ plan to national control of price gouging as a mischaracterization and the supposed belief the Biden-Harris administration has brought down inflation, created millions of new jobs and has helped increase wages.

Actually, inflation is still too high and marginally increasing, the new jobs created are part-time at best and the bullish stock market has swung like a pendulum. For him to say the country is not in a recession is a laugh. I wonder if he shops for groceries, with the ever-increasing prices for basic food items, sees the frozen wages of many business professionals that have been held in check by companies for year and the overall disenchantment of consumers with the economy.

Is the current administration’s claim of making the rich “pay their fair share,” which I doubt they will do, going to fix this? I would like to see Mr. Peterson respond to that. Seems like the Herald has lost their way to “Fear God, Tell the Truth and Make money,” forgetting the middle part of that statement.
