Hoffman Estates to celebrate village’s 65th birthday Saturday

Hoffman Estates Historian Pat Barch will host a free 65th birthday celebration for the village from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

The village of Hoffman Estates was officially incorporated on Sept. 23, 1959.

Saturday’s event includes the opportunity to view the historian’s photo album dating from 1956 to the present.

Attendees are invited to share their memories and perhaps an old photo they might bring along.

Cake and coffee will be served.
