Assessment appeal workshop Thursday in Elk Grove

The public is invited to a property assessment appeal workshop set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Elk Grove Township headquarters, 600 Landmeier Road, in Elk Grove Village.

The event will provide taxpayers an opportunity to appeal their property assessment and potentially lower their property tax bill.

The event is hosted by Cook County Board of Review Commissioner George Cardenas, Elk Grove Township Assessor Connie Carosielli, state Reps. Michelle Mussman and Nicolle Grasse, and Cook County Board members Sean Morrison and Kevin Morrison.
