Walz and the issue of character
I can’t let Ms. Baille’s comments, concerning Kamala’s “poor choice” in selecting Tim Walz as her running mate, go unchecked.
To support a president who has on record over 35,000 lies and misstatements (and continues to spout the same lies he told eight years ago) over a V.P. candidate who corrects the record when he has misspoken is laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.
Tim Walz served his country proudly for 24 years. He corrected his statement about his involvement in combat, so put it behind and thank him for his service.
Fertility specialists will tell you that all patients refer to IVF and IUI interchangeably. Both are fertility treatments. Isn’t it nice that the Walzes were able to have children after treatment? In 1989, after graduating with a degree in Social Science, Tim Walz spent a year teaching high school in China as part of Harvard’s World Teach Program. During the Walzes’ honeymoon, they led tours of high school students in China. What a wonderful learning experience that I could only dream of at that point in my life. Good for them.
When Tim Walz was 31 years old, he received a DUI. His blood alcohol limit was .128 with the legal limit being .10. He was merely fined because his blood level was “relatively low.” Walz then self reported to his principal and offered to quit his teaching position and gave up alcohol at that point. Our country would be a safer place if everyone who got one DUI, would give up drinking like Tim Walz did.
It’s sad when brothers are torn apart for any reason. And, is it really any of our business?
Look closely. If you think Tim Walz hasn’t character, you may want to look deeper into the “other” candidate who is running for president yet again and who won’t be a “heartbeat away” but will clearly be “in the way” of our democracy.
