Longing for the previous information age
The wheels of justice turn slowly — too slowly for today’s information age. Unfortunately for the 24-hour “news” networks, days and maybe months go by between actual news from the courtroom. Those networks must grind the same news items over and over, calling on outside “experts” to explain their take on minuscule details, ad infinitum.
With today’s internet, everyone’s a critic and they all want to share their opinion (or the opinion pounded into them by their favorite channel).
It makes you yearn for the days of Cronkite and Huntley/Brinkley, when nightly news presented the day’s varied news points in intelligent format.
