Entertainment, activities draw families to Des Plaines Fall Fest
Des Plaines' Fall Fest, taking place at Lake Park through Sunday, offers fun for the entire family.
Food from a dozen local restaurants, cold beer, live music, a Kids Zone that includes a petting zoo and climbing wall, and a carnival for the entire family are among the highlights of the annual event.

Sunday's Kids Zone entertainment schedule includes the John Measner magic show at noon and 1:30 p.m., and there will be a martial arts demonstration with Victory MMA.

A custom car show will also take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, and there will be live music performances at noon by Sushi Roll, 2:15 by Serendipity and 5 p.m. by 7th heaven.
