Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce hosts ribbon-cutting ceremony for Chicago Mama Physical Therapy

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Chicago Mama Physical Therapy with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Located in the heart of downtown Barrington, Chicago Mama is a specialized physical therapy clinic founded by Dr. Amy Fetch, PT, DPT, to support women’s health at every stage of life. The clinic offers a range of pelvic floor and holistic physical therapy services aimed at addressing common health challenges faced by women, from pregnancy to menopause.

Dr. Fetch’s practice offers personalized care for women experiencing conditions related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause. Some of the conditions treated include urinary or bowel issues, pelvic pain, hip and back pain, prolapse and frequent UTIs. Chicago Mama Physical Therapy also provides services to help women manage pain during pregnancy, prepare for labor and delivery, and return to exercise after childbirth. Dr. Fetch emphasizes a holistic approach to care, treating the whole body from head to toe to ensure optimal well-being.

"As a mom of two, I know firsthand how women often put themselves last," said Dr. Fetch. "Chicago Mama Physical Therapy is here to remind women that taking care of themselves is not a luxury—it's essential. You can't take care of others without first taking care of yourself, and we're here to support women on that journey."

Chicago Mama Physical Therapy's mission is to empower women to prioritize their health, offering expert care in a supportive environment. Whether helping women achieve a pain-free pregnancy or guiding them through the challenges of postpartum recovery, Dr. Fetch and her team are dedicated to improving the quality of life for every patient they serve.
