One or the other

When TX Gov. Abbott spoke of sending more migrants to Chicago, Brandon Johnson had no objections, saying that we have even more capacity. Of course, when sanctuary city Chicago takes on more migrants, it costs a lot to feed and shelter them and to educate their children.

The latest things we’ve heard, however, is that Chicago is deeply in the red. So which is correct: can we afford to take on more migrants or are we spending money that we don’t have?
