Five Below opens store in Arlington Heights

Five Below — the retailer selling most items between $1 and $5 — opened a location Friday at the Northpoint Shopping Center in Arlington Heights.

At 430 E. Rand Road, the 9,500-square-foot store has an assortment of products such as candy and snacks, beauty supplies, tech, room décor, and a party shop with helium balloons and favors.

Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Founded in 2002, Five Below now has more than 1,600 stores in 43 states.
