Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Fest returns to Irish American Heritage Center

The Irish American Heritage Center's Halfway to St. Patrick's Day event returns Sept. 13-15, at 4626 N. Knox Ave., in Chicago.

Enjoy live music, great food and Irish drinks all weekend. Don’t miss special appearances by the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, O’Hara School of Irish Dance, Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance, The Chicago Garda Pipes & Drums and The Shannon Rovers. The weekend wraps up on Sunday the Sept. 15, with a special Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day concert with Irish superstars Kila in the Mayfair Theatre.

Line Up:

Friday, Sept. 13:

6:30 p.m.: Trinity Academy of Irish Dance

7:30 p.m.: Kieran Byrne

9 p.m.: Chicago Garda Pipes & Drums

Saturday, Sept. 14:

2 p.m.: O’Hara School of Irish Dance

2:30 p.m.: Fast Eddie

4:30 p.m.: Irish Session w/Sean Cleland & Irish Music School of Chicago

6:30 p.m. Blame Not the Bard

8:30 p.m.: In Spite of Ourselves w/ Chicago Garda Pipe & Drums

Sunday, Sept. 15:

1 p.m.: Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance

1:30 p.m.: The Chancey Brothers

3 p.m.: Irish Session with Michael Austin, James Conway & Friends

4:30 p.m.: Kila with Shannon Rovers (Mayfair Theatre, separate ticket)

Tickets on Friday are free thanks to sponsor donations. Tickets on Saturday and Sunday are $10 online before Sept. 12 and $15 at the door.

Tickets for Kila are $20 and are available at irish-american.org.
