Lombard’s Faith UMC to host free concert and picnic on the lawn

Faith United Methodist Church in Lombard invites the community to a picnic on the lawn with a free lunch, as well as a concert by Pastor Dave and the Trustees band, on Saturday, Sept. 14.

It will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 815 S. Finley Road. There also will be chances to win gift certificates and card.

A freewill offering will be collected to support Faith UMC's mission.

The church will hold its last outdoor worship of the season before fall sets in. It will be 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.

The Holiday Food Drive will be starting Sept. 22. Help support the community by bringing your donations to the church fellowship room during Sunday worship. They will deliver them to Outreach House on Nov. 18, just in time for Thanksgiving!

Regular worship is at 9 a.m. Sundays, livestreamed on Facebook.
