Men steal $9,000 in fragrances from Geneva beauty store

Two men stole more than $9,000 worth of fragrances Saturday afternoon from the Ulta Beauty store in Geneva, police report.

They ran through the store at 1560 S. Randall Road, putting 55 packages in shopping bags, around 2:12 p.m.

The men left in a 2011 white Hyundai.

Ulta typically keeps its high-end fragrances locked up, but these were unsecured on end-of-aisle displays, police said.

Police are working with investigators in other suburbs, including Arlington Heights and Burbank, to see if these men are responsible for burglaries at Ulta stores in those towns.
