Follow the money

I am wondering who is going to benefit from the sale of the Palatine Stables.

Apparently it will cost about the same to fix it as it will to tear it down. I was in real estate for 30 years, and when the market was hot and they were building condos in Palatine on land that had nice old homes, I would ask the builder’s management who owned the land before and who condemned the land through eminent domain. Often, they would say the mayor or some other Palatine official.
