Rust-Oleum raises $4,268 to benefit local veterans with first yard sale
Rust-Oleum Corporation hosted its first yard sale open to the public in August. The event encouraged people to #SprayNewLife into secondhand scores and featured transformed furniture pieces created by in-house DIY experts most notably seen on social media. This mix of new and renewed items were re-imagined with a variety of the company’s well-known products, including Stops Rust with Custom Spray 5-in-1, Universal Premium Spray Paint and Varathane wood stain in various and inspiring different sheens and shades. The event generated a whopping $2,134 in sales, which Rust-Oleum matched to a grand total of $4,268 raised for the Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation.
