The RFK Jr. factor

Let’s be clear: Robert Kennedy Jr.’s so-called “presidential campaign” was always simply a cynical effort to use his family name to siphon a few votes away from the Democratic candidate in battleground states. Of course, they couldn’t come out and say that, so the plan backfired when it turned out that many of those who leaned toward voting for him were low-information voters who would otherwise vote for Trump. So, RFK Jr. shut down his campaign and endorsed Trump and I can only say one thing — I didn’t think the Trump campaign could get any weirder, but I was wrong.
