Shop the Mum Sale at the COD Greenhouse Sept. 11-12

The College of DuPage Horticulture program’s annual fall mum sale will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the COD Greenhouse on the southwest corner of the Technical Education Center on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Customers may choose between a variety of colors of mums, along with a limited selection of houseplants and ornamental kale. All greenhouse stock is grown on campus by COD staff and students.

The horticulture program at COD provides fundamental and advanced education and practical training to help graduates successfully enter the workforce.

Students can earn Associate in Applied Science degrees in horticulture, landscape contracting and management, and sustainable urban agriculture as well as 11 specialized certificates. Horticulture courses are offered day and night, in-person, hybrid and virtual with more than 60 course offerings.
