Experience fall’s flock: Join bird watching walks at Kane County forest preserves

Embrace the beauty of fall and join the Forest Preserve District of Kane County for bird watching walks.

Join district naturalists for a series of engaging hikes. You’ll learn to identify local bird species while exploring the serene forest preserves.

Upcoming programs include:

• Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bowes Creek Woods Forest Preserve, 9N420 Crawford Road in Elgin

• Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Kenyon Farm Forest Preserve, 8N700 Barry Road in South Elgin

• Sunday, Nov. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Campton Forest Preserve, 4N379 Town Hall Road in St. Charles.

These free programs are perfect for bird enthusiasts of all levels. Naturalists will cover basic bird-identification skills and share intriguing stories during the hike.
