Fascists and glass houses

In a letter in Saturday’s edition, Bob Janz mentions the word fascism with the Supreme Court ruling about presidential immunity and how Mr. Trump should be labeled as a fascist. He also mentions the rule of law.

Let’s see, Biden refused to follow the Supreme Court’s ruling on the border. He refused the ruling on the college loan forgiveness. Given all the fentanyl deaths caused by his border policy and Supreme Court snub, most being younger folks, I would say he should be brought up on 1st degree murder charges, knowingly allowing open borders for the drugs to pass through. He knew it and did nothing. Now because of the Supreme Court ruling he cannot be charged. I bet you like the ruling now.

Democratic ideology and new potential voters meant more than human lives. If a regular citizen broke the law, we would be brought up on charges (unless you live in a Democratic city). Maybe if one of those thousands of very heartbreaking deaths were a family member of a high-up Democratic politician, I bet the border would have been closed.

Please don’t lecture us on fascism. For every one issue you point out about the Republicans, I can show you two the Democrats do. Given all the legal snubs by the current president, I’d say he is the fascist dictator. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
