Brass quintet performs classical repertoire honoring beloved Barrington area resident

A distinguished brass quintet will present a classical music concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Salem United Methodist Church in Barrington. The ensemble features Matt Gaunt, Susanna Gaunt, Sarah Carrillo, Adam Moen, and local resident Christian Anderson.

These accomplished artists have performed with prestigious orchestras including the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera, Grant Park Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, and the Vienna Philharmonic.

This free concert is performed in memory of Helen Lohman, a longtime resident of the Barrington area and beloved member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was also grandmother to Christian’s wife, Danielle, and mother to lifelong Barrington resident Joyce Franzese.
