Choose wisely
Choosing a president should not be a popularity contest. One is not voting for your high school freshman class president or for the king/queen of the homecoming celebration.
Will the next president of the U.S. you vote for be able to handle, say, another Dec. 7, 1941; a Cuban missile crises of October of 1962; an oil embargo by OPEC from October 1973; the Embassy in Tehran being occupied and 55-plus hostages taken for 444 days in November of 1979; a military barracks in Beirut being bombed with 241 Americans killed on Oct. 23,1983; current missile attacks on American bases in the middle east (Syria); or, God forbid, another Sept. 11, 2001?
Will the person you vote for be able to negotiate with Xi Jinping of China, Vladimir Putin of Russia and Ali Khamenei of Iran?
Choose wisely for your next president.
