Rosie and the Rivets to perform at ‘Music at the Reserve’ Aug. 15
Rosie and the Rivets are bringing their premier retro rock 'n' roll tribute show to “Music at the Reserve” on Thursday, Aug. 15.
It will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hanover Township Izaak Walton Reserve outdoor amphitheater, 899 Jay St. in Elgin.
The group is known for performing the best music of the 1950s and early ’60s along with contemporary music with a retro twist.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to sit out and enjoy the concert. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting youth programming. The Ice Cream Overload truck will also be on-site offering everyone’s favorite flavors and toppings.
Limited parking is available. Off-site parking is available at Huff Elementary School, 801 Hastings St. in Elgin.
Ginger Road, Chicago’s rip-roarin’ country band, will play at the reserve at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.
