Elgin Area Retired Teacher Association to host retired teacher luncheon Sept. 20

The Elgin Area Retired Teacher Association invites all retired teachers to a luncheon on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Elgin Country Club. It will start with socializing at 11:30 a.m. and a four-course meal will be served at noon.

Gary Swick, president of Friends of the Fox River, will speak about the Fox Valley River ecosystem.

Reservations and $38 payment are required by Friday, Sept. 13 by contacting Bonnie at (630) 830-5242.

The Elgin Area Retired Teacher Association is a local unit of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association, serving the northern Kane County school districts: Elgin Area School District U-46, Community Unit District 300, Central Unit District 301 and St. Charles Unit District 303.
